In July 2008, Robin Hood resumed occupancy of its first building development, the Robin Hood School, located at 3 Spruce Avenue in Sherwood Park. Renovations have been completed to create a centre specially designed to meet the increasing needs of the children and youth of our community. The Children & Youth Community Centre opened in April 2009 and its programs are in full swing.

The Children and Youth Community Centre has also become the new home of the Boys and Girls Club of Strathcona County and the Strathcona Family and Community Services Parent Link program. This partnership is forming an innovative and collaborative approach to delivering services and support to the community's children and youth. It has created a "one stop shop", allowing clients to obtain enhanced support and service in one location. It is anticipated that the Centre will serve over 4500 families this year.
