Intact Insurance Helps Fund Summer Program

Thanks to $35,000 from Intact Insurance over the past two years, Robin Hood's Summer Program is vibrant, healthy and meeting the needs of many children and families over the summer months.

The financial boost to the program helps to keep costs down for families of children with developmental disabilities. Funds are used to offset the costs associated with program equipment and supplies, facility rental and transportation to and from special community events or facilities. Over the past two years, approximately 100 families from Sherwood Park and surrounding area (including Edmonton and Fort Saskatchewan) receive necessary respite, thus allowing their children to grow and develop through the summer months.

Intact Financial Corporation established Intact Foundation to support organizations that inspire inventiveness and independence in Canada's youth. Through investments in high-potential community opportunities, the Intact Foundation is committed to empowering Canada's young people to achieve their full potential and building stronger communities for their future.
