The Art Studio at the Robin Hood Association’s Learning Centre provides an environment wherein individuals with developmental disabilities can freely express themselves through the mediums of painting and drawing. The Studio’s collective output ranges from the realistic to the abstract, and sometimes the fantastical. Striking, original works are created independently, each a pure expression of the artist’s unique and deliberate style. A great many of our artists are non-verbal, some are challenged by limited motor skills and some are visually impaired.

It is the objective of the Robin Hood Art Studio to seek out as many outlets for the public display and marketing of the works created by its artists. In so doing, we endeavor to foster creativity and self-esteem, promote artists with developmental disabilities and create a stream of revenue for both the artists and the Robin Hood Association. Proceeds of sales are allocated equally to the artists and the ongoing operation of the Association.
