Aspen Village Facility

Scheduled to open March 2009
Estimated project cost: $5.1 Million
Raised to date: $2.54 Million

The Robin Hood Association is a major provider of affordable housing in Strathcona County. Sherwood Park seriously lacks affordable housing for many populations, including people with developmental disabilities.  Our present intake waiting list includes approximately 30 individuals requiring affordable housing and residential services within the next three years.

The development of the Aspen Village facility will allow more individuals to receive services using existing residential facilities.  With a severe decline in the labor pool, our ability to meet the residential needs of our clientele requires an approach that will ensure a high quality of life, while maximizing the resources we do have.

The primary target resident for the Aspen Village site will be people with developmental disabilities who are generally over the age of 45 years and have mobility challenges.

Your thoughts and ideas are most welcome as we plan for this new facility. For more information or to provide feedback regarding Aspen Village, contact Ann Marie LePan, Director of Adult Services at (780) 467-7140 Ext. 225 or email lepan@robinhoodassoc.com.
