Adult Services are available to individuals who are at least 18 years of age, have a diagnosed developmental disability and who receive funding from Persons With Developmental Disabilities (PDD).
Robin Hood Association is proud to offer a variety of programs to adults with disabilities:
provide training and promote growth and independence in the areas of vocational skills, education, the arts, health & fitness, and personal development. This program is currently serving over 290 adults with developmental disabilities in Sherwood Park and Fort Saskatchewan.
provides a variety of residential housing options to approximately 200 adults with disabilities. The Robin Hood Association operates and monitors 40 group homes and 20 support homes in Strathcona County and Fort Saskatchewan.
focuses on integrating people with developmental disabilities into everyday community-based activities in the areas of recreation, leisure, education and employment.
helps individuals with disabilities to develop skills for employment and explore the world of work in their community. This program provides support in employment preparation, job search, training and integrated employment maintenance. provides an accessible, cost-effective and personalized transportation service to persons with disabilities and seniors in the community. This includes travel to work, volunteer and educational placements, outings in the community, medical appointments, evening & weekend activies and travel to & from the Day Program.
