COMMUNITY LIVING

In RHA homes, individuals are supported to live as independently as possible while maintaining safety, well-being, and connection.

The focus is on building daily living skills, strengthening relationships, and helping each person take part in home and community life.

This may involve personal care, household routines, medication assistance, appointments, transportation, community resources, and social or recreational activities.

INDEPENDENT LIVING

This home-based program helps individuals develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible.

Depending on each person’s goals and needs, support can involve personal care, medication monitoring, mobility, meal preparation, housekeeping, budgeting, appointments, and community access.

Individuals are also supported to participate in social, recreational, employment, and volunteer opportunities.
