On September 22, 2024, the RHA community gathered in Ardrossan, Alberta, for The Great Rural Race. Now in its third year, this inclusive event was organized by a small and mighty group of community volunteers and sponsored by the Ardrossan Recreation & Agricultural Society. It brought together runners, walkers, and rollers of all ages in support of the Robin Hood Association.
Â
What started as a casual lunchtime walking group called "Walk O'Clock" has grown into a community-wide event. This year's sold-out race featured 200 participants and raised an impressive $6,121.88 to support RHA’s vital programs and services.
Â
The event was fun for all ages, with a Kidzone and Market adding to the festive atmosphere. Special thanks to Chelsea, Nicoll, Jenae, and our generous sponsors at ARAS for their dedication to fostering a more inclusive and supportive community.

Thank you to everyone who participated—your support means the world to us!
