We are deeply grateful to our local heroes at the Strathcona County Fire Department for organizing the first annual Strathcona Firefighters Charity Golf Tournament—and for choosing Robin Hood Association as one of this year’s beneficiaries!
Led by Firefighters Jake Young, Colin Taylor, and an incredible team of volunteers, the tournament brought together community members, golfers, and generous supporters for a day of camaraderie and giving.
Thanks to their outstanding effort—and the amazing support of everyone who golfed, donated, and took part—this inaugural event raised an incredible $18,508.84 for Robin Hood Association’s Empowerment Project.
These funds will help advance the Empowerment Project’s mission to create more inclusive, accessible, and enriching opportunities for people with developmental disabilities—empowering individuals to live, learn, and thrive as part of their community.
From all of us at Robin Hood Association, thank you to the Strathcona Firefighters and everyone who helped make this event such a success. We’re already looking forward to seeing what next year’s tournament brings!
